Ahhh, a beautiful morning in Los Angeles. I stretch, walk to the kitchen to make some tea (I'm feeling a little under the weather it turns out), pour a bowl of Panda Puffs, and decide to open the iTunes store to see what comes up. And what have we here?? Hmmm, "Charlie Bartlett" for rent!! Now, I tried to rent "American Movie" (must see) from iTunes the other night and I didn't realize it was a 24 hour thing. So if you rent it, be warned!
I decided to read some news today as well. Let's see, blah blah blah blah Chad Michael Murray won a Teen Choice Award?!! Well, hell yeah! Yes, "One Tree Hill" is still in the game, it turns out. I root for it like I root for my old high school's football team; from afar, but with pride. Congrats, buddy.
I'm in the middle of my week off, which I started with a viewing of "Amelie". It's been so long since I've done nothing related to work. I didn't even know where to begin. I guess I never really felt like I was working, 'cause it all had to do with my music, but somewhere along the way I've let the simple pleasures slip away. But Amelie never does. She skips rocks, she makes dinners for herself, she gets to know her neighborhood, she smiles at the thought of her latest movie being available for rent on iTunes. You know, the simple things.
Curtis Peoples came over last night to re-watch a few episodes of "Entourage" with my roommate Brad and I, and to do a general catch up. We're doing a show together with some friends of ours (including Terra Naomi) this Sunday on a boat somewhere in So Cal. The info is on my website. It's called the “3 Hour Tour.” This will be my first show on a boat...ever. How I've gone this long, I will never know. We watched Curtis' music video, too....ha! What a little rocker. His new CD comes out August 19th. A CD that happens to hold a song written by Slim, Curtis, and myself. That means when he sells millions, I make money....yea...that's all it is to me. Money. He'll be back over in an hour for some light lunch by the pool. Summer vaca is the best!

omg i've only just started getting into one tree hill and thats were i first heard your voice...it actually gives me goosebumps! its amazing...'missing you' is my fav song must have listened to it about 1000 times...ur amazing!

I'm glad that you get a little break. Everyone needs that in awhile. I hope you feel better, it's never fun to be sick. I wish that I could go to the "3 Hour Tour," it sounds like so much fun, so many great musicians. Enjoy your break- hope to see you soon.
